The exhibition titled “Pictures of our time: works of the students of Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo (ALU)” was held at the Para Museum in Istanbul on Friday, September 4, 2014. On this special occasion chosen works of 80 ALU students from all departments (painting, graphics, drawing, sculpture, installation, video, animation, comics and design) were presented. Assist. Prof. Dr. Meliha Teparić and Assistant Roman Sulejmanpašić from the Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design Program (VACD) of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) took part at this exhibition as well. The exhibition is realized through cooperation of the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, Pera Museum in Istanbul, Turkish Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Istanbul Association for intercultural dialogue and artistic (IKASD). Curator was Prof. Dr. Aida Abadžić-Hodžić. Among distinguished guests was also the BiH consul, His Excellency Adi Durmić. The exhibition will be open to the public until November 1, 2015.
