The Rector of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Kuşakcı, together with his accompanying delegation, paid an official visit to the headquarters of the Academics and Authors Association of Islamic Countries (AYBİR), where they were warmly received by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebubekir Ceylan, President of AYBİR.
The visit provided an important opportunity for both institutions to exchange views on areas of mutual interest and to discuss the potential for closer academic and institutional cooperation. Held in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, the meeting reflected a shared commitment to strengthening ties through dialogue, collaboration, and the development of joint initiatives.
A key outcome of the visit was the signing of a goodwill cooperation protocol between the International University of Sarajevo and AYBİR. This protocol marks an important step toward the further development of relations between the two institutions and sets the foundation for future collaboration in areas related to academia, knowledge exchange, and institutional partnership.
The agreement also carries broader significance in the context of international cooperation, as it contributes to building stronger connections between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Türkiye. By encouraging communication and cooperation between academic and intellectual communities, the protocol is expected to support meaningful exchanges of ideas, expertise, and experience.
Such partnerships play an important role in creating new opportunities for collaborative projects, academic networking, and long-term institutional engagement. Through this goodwill protocol, both IUS and AYBİR have expressed their readiness to work together in promoting values of education, dialogue, and cross-border cooperation.
The International University of Sarajevo extends its sincere appreciation to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebubekir Ceylan and AYBİR for their warm hospitality and constructive meeting. IUS looks forward to the future development of this partnership and to the opportunities that may arise from this shared commitment to academic and institutional cooperation.
