Horizon2020: SAGE Project Implementation

Horizon2020 (European Commission) project “Systematic Action for Gender Equality” (SAGE) is being successfully implemented at the IUS. Second working meeting of the consortium was held in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in December 2016. In the meeting, following partner universities were present: Trinity College Dublin, Queen's University of Belfast, University Institute from Lisbon, International University of Sarajevo, Kadir Has University from Istanbul, University of Brescia from Italy, and Science Po Bordeaux from France.

In the meeting, parties discussed and analyzed the data gathered at their respective universities and future steps to be taken. International University of Sarajevo has an important role in this project, since it is leading part of project package that sets as an outcome creating Gender Equality Plan for all partner institutions. SAGE team has already started with preparations for this important step of the project.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Jasminka Hasić-Telalović, project coordinator for IUS, and project assistant Mirza Rastoder, have as a goal to raise IUS to the level of European academic institutions in terms of ensuring gender equality in a systematic way.
