The Government of Sarajevo Canton accepted the Report of the expert committee, appointed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Sarajevo Canton, related to establishment of the Faculty of Education at the International University Sarajevo (IUS), on its ninth meeting session held on Wednesday, June 11, 2015. This Decision confirms approval of the feasibility study on establishment of the Faculty of Education which is a positive and important step towards the establishment of the fifth Faculty of IUS.
''In 2004, we started off with three faculties, and today we are one step closer to have 2 more faculty units. By the end of 201, we will have a total of five faculties. This is a historical moment for our University and I am truly pleased to say that through joint efforts spent in the past 11 years, we have achieved getting a consent of the government of the feasibility study for establishing new educational units at IUS '' - said Vice Rector Assist. Prof. Dr. Muhamed Ali.
