Famous artist Mesut Kurtiş visited the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) on Monday, May 4, 2015. IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu and Vice Rector for General Affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Muhamed Ali welcomed the distinguished guest in the office. Rector Oğurlu stressed that IUS as an international educational institution keeps its doors always open for artists and people whose experience and knowledge is directed towards benefit and development of the community.
Mesut Kurtiş expressed satisfaction with his visit to IUS and talked about his future work plans during the year of 2015. Besides having the educational mission, Vice Rector Ali emphasized that IUS works on strengthening the development of society and connecting different cultures and countries around the world. Mesut Kurtiş is author and interpreter of nasheed and Islamic Music. His work is, so far, presented in many countries around the world.
