Within the framework of the Undergraduate Double Diploma Program in Medicine jointly conducted by the University of Health Sciences (UHS) and the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) , Prof. Dr. Ebru Kale, Vice Rector of the University of Health Sciences (SBÜ), paid an official visited IUS as part of the ongoing academic collaboration.
During her visit, Prof. Dr. Kale held meetings with the IUS administration and relevant academic units, focusing on the ongoing and future development of the Faculty of Medicine under the double diploma framework. The discussions addressed academic planning, institutional cooperation, and strategies to further strengthen the quality and sustainability of medical education.
As part of the visit, Prof. Dr. Kale also met with the first cohort of medical students enrolled in the double diploma program. In a warm and interactive session, she answered students’ questions, listened to their expectations, and shared valuable insights on the significance of medical education, professional responsibility, and the role of future physicians in society. The meeting provided an encouraging platform for students to engage directly with academic leadership and gain motivation at the early stages of their medical training.
The visit highlighted the strong academic partnership between SBÜ and IUS and reaffirmed the shared commitment of both institutions to delivering high-quality medical education through international collaboration.
