On March 22, 2022, eminent architect Mr. Nedim Hadžiabdić held a lecture about architecture to Architectural Design Studio IV (ARCH 303) students at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS). Mr. Nedim Hadžiabdić is a well-established and progressive BIH architect with 40 years of work experience. After finishing Second gymnasium, he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Sarajevo. In 1987 he received a status of a freelance artist from the Ministry of Culture in BiH and opened his own architectural bureau called “Rdesign”.
During his career, Mr. Hadžiabdić has realized dozens of projects, some of the most significant ones being: first Avaz building (now Addiko Bank); interior of Avaz tower; Kumrovac corner tower; CINEPLEX movie theatre complex; Kvadrant 12; Restaurant Oaza; Caffe Bakery Mrvica; several hotels including: interior of hotel Bristol, reconstruction of Hotel Terme, Hotel Natur Fojnica and a series of residential buildings and sacral objects.
Mr. Hadžiabdić shared his knowledge and experience with the IUS architecture students and advised them to always be creative and innovative.
