On Monday, December 19, 2016, Delegation from the Hacettepe University ¨Faculty of Medicine¨ and Atatürk Hospital from Ankara visited International University of Sarajevo (IUS). The Delegation was headed by Prof. Dr. Meral Kanbak, Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care of Hacettepe University.
Prof. Dr. Meral Kanbak is the Congress Chairman of the Anesthesiology and Reanimation Specialists' Society Congress which will be held in Sarajevo during 17 - 20 May, 2017. The topic is "Balkan States Anesthesia Days - IV" that will include 250 specialists from many neighboring countries.
Hacettepe University, as one of the leading universities in Turkey, keeps contributing to social development and universal values in the fields of science, technology, and art. The aim of Faculty of Medicine is to provide a mission and a vision to individuals to become self-determined and self-motivated, and to attain problem-solving capabilities based on knowledge and experiments.
During the meeting, the possibilities of future cooperation between these two institutions were discussed. Cooperation of IUS and Hacettepe University will provide students with more professional, intellectual atmosphere in their futures. Moreover, delegation invited IUS Rector Prof. Dr. Tahsin Erkan Türe to the Congress and invited IUS to support the event.
