Bosnia Start Up Cup workshop was held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, in the main amphitheater of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS). The workshop was organized with assistance of Leadership and Entrepreneurship Center (LEC) of the IUS. Assist. Prof. Dr. Senad Bušatlić, Management program coordinator of LEC and Syed Kamal, President and CEO of Gillani Consulting Group and Gillani International d.o.o.Goražde, gave introductory welcoming speeches.
The event focused on keynote presentations on Entrepreneurship, business model and pitch coaching, along with an introduction to visual thinking tools to help accelerate startup go-to-market strategies. Bosnia StartUp Cup was introduced as intensive seven-month business model competition with the main goal to enrich participants of the program with knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship. These entrepreneurs might have a business model for a new startup business, or to further expand a SME. The role of mentors will be to provide instructions and training to the people with ideas, empower them to deal with all required tasks, and eventually to run a business.
