Social, Cultural and Health Activities Department (SACHS) of IUS organized the 3rd Traditional Tournament in Table Tennis on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS). This type of competition is very popular among young people and students who like table tennis. SACHS representatives stated that the main reason for organizing this kind of event is to create and maintain a great atmosphere for socializing, with the opportunity to achieve and develop a competitive spirit. More than 30 competitors participated in this year’s tournament and all interested IUS students as well as academic and administrative staff had the opportunity to apply and participate in the competition.
This Tournament was organized in the lobby of the IUS and it attracted many people who really like this type of sport. The winners of the competition are: First place - Berkay Yazici, Second place - Vildan Živojević, Third place - Amina Jašarević. For best Table Tennis players of the Tournament, the organizer has provided the medals. This kind of sport gathering is organized every year at IUS and the organizers are satisfied with the visit and the quality of the game. The next Tournament will be organized in 2016. IUS wants to use this opportunity to congratulate the winners and wish them not only to be good athletes, but to be good and hard-working students as well.
