The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) wrapped up the academic year in the best possible way — with sunshine, music, sports, food, laughter, and a full day of activities at this year’s Spring Fest.
After months of lectures, assignments, projects, and exams, students finally had the chance to slow down, relax, and enjoy campus life in a completely different atmosphere. Spring Fest turned the IUS campus into a lively outdoor gathering space filled with good energy, friendly competition, creativity, and unforgettable moments.
The day was packed with activities for everyone. Sports lovers joined football and chess tournaments, while the IUS 5K marathon brought extra movement and excitement to the campus. Students also had the chance to show off their driving skills in karting races, adding speed and adrenaline to the Spring Fest experience.
For those who wanted a taste of Formula 1 excitement, the Racing Arena Simulation offered a thrilling virtual driving experience, giving students the opportunity to test their focus, reflexes, and racing spirit in a realistic F1-style simulation.
Student clubs also brought their own energy to the event. The campus was filled with creative corners and interactive activities organized by different clubs, including henna workshops, ASA Club activities, the Music Club, Art Club, Book Club, and more. Their participation once again showed how much student creativity, talent, and initiative contribute to life at IUS.
Of course, no spring celebration would be complete without good food and refreshing treats. Visitors enjoyed a charity bazaar, ice cream, sweets, drinks, and plenty of tasty options throughout the day. The charity bazaar added a meaningful touch to the event, reminding everyone that fun and solidarity can go hand in hand.
Music kept the atmosphere alive from start to finish, creating the perfect background for a day of relaxation and celebration. As the highlight of the event, DJ Kanita Polimac, also known as DJ Kazumi, brought an extra boost of energy with her music and songs, turning the final part of the day into a true campus celebration.
Spring Fest was more than just an end-of-year event. It was a chance for students to celebrate their hard work, spend time with friends, compete, dance, laugh, and enjoy the IUS community outside the classroom.
With sports, music, racing, student clubs, great food, and good vibes all around, this year’s Spring Fest reminded everyone that university life is not only about studying — it is also about friendships, memories, and moments that make the student experience truly special.
