13th ''Ambassador Talk '' session was held in the main amphitheater of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. International Relations Office of IUS organized in cooperation with International and Public Relations program and Social and Political Sciences program a lecture of Ambassador of Sweden to BiH, HE Fredrik Schiller. He gave an interesting lecture entitled "Sweden – Swedish Foreign Policy, EU Enlargement, Southeast Europe and Bosnia and Herzegovina”.
IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu together with the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Korkut, Secretary General of the IUS, Emir Hadžikadunić, IRO Manager Lamija Hadžimurtezić and IUS student, Melina Nuhić who is a citizen of Sweden welcomed the distinguished guest in his office.
During the meeting, Rector Oğurlu emphasized that the mission of IUS is to educate free minded young people that are open to changes, improvements, development and are willing to transform the knowledge and values for themselves all in order to benefit the community. Ambassador Schiller pointed out that he is particularly interested in involvement of BH Diaspora in the development of this country, and thinks that it can play a huge role in the process. In the time of the lecture, HE Fredrik Schiller spoke about the history of Sweden, its development and current political and economic position.
