International University of Sarajevo is proud to announce the completion of the first phase of the IUS Campus construction in Ilidža. Having this in mind, IUS Students will start their Spring Semester courses of Academic Year 2009/2010 in the newly built, modern Campus premises on March 8th 2010. To make sure that everything is ready for the students, academics and administration move-in; many workers are currently finalizing the interior works of the main Campus building.
Campus, whose construction was finally officiated in September 2006, is located on 72,5 square hectare land. It is expected that, when all phases of construction are finished, Campus will be comprised of 20 buildings, including dormitories for female and male students, library, shopping centre, labs, sport terrains, etc. Around 50 million EUR will be invested in the Campus Construction, what makes it one of the biggest investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
