In the framework of development and intensification of scientific research, International University of Sarajevo (IUS ) has started the implementation of the new EU project entitled "Positioning Level V Qualification in BiH." The leader of this EU project is Asst. Prof. Dr. Jasminka Hasić – Telalović, from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at IUS. Other professors involved in the project include: Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhamed Hadžiabdić , Asst. Prof. Dr. Nermin Oruč , M.Sc. Kanita Hadžiabdić, M.Sc. Alma Husagić - Selman. The total value of the project is 115.777EUR. The EU Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina co-financed the project with 91.337 EUR and other funds are provided by the IUS. The aim of the " Positioning Level V Qualification in BiH " project is to improve education in the wood processing industry, and the project is planned to include the following activities: - Analysis of the labor market needs and skill mismatches- Analysis of best practices at the level of the European Union- Curriculum development for the level V qualification - Development of curriculum for training professors,for the level V qualification- Create a model for the rapid implementation of the new curricula that meet the needs of the labor market- Increase the capacity of schools to conduct the level V qualification - Increase the employment rate of the level V qualification graduates Partners in this project are:JU Mixed Secondary School Živinice andJU Mixed Secondary School " Musa Ćazim Ćatić " Olovo.
