A lecture entitled " Portraiture and Enslavement: A Transatlantic Account" was held on June 06th,2013 at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS). The lecture was held by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Agnes Lugo-Ortiz, an expert on 19th Century Latin American and Caribbean Literatures and Cultures.
Dr. Agnes Lugo-Ortiz is an associate professor in the Department of Roman languages and literature at the University of Chicago and her work focuses on the issues concerning the relationship between the cultural production and the creation of contemporary socio-political identity.
A lecture of Dr. Agnes Lugo-Ortiz was attended by students and academic staff of IUS.
