On the evening of July 18th, 2013, around two hundred guests attended iftar reception hosted by the International University of Sarajevo (IUS). This special evening of the Holy month of Ramadan was attended by IUS employees and several distinguished guests.
The guests were welcomed by IUS Rector Prof. Dr. Özer Çınar, the president of the Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo, Mr. Hasan Topaloğlu and the Chairman of the IUS Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Hasan Zuhuri Sarıkaya.
Among the present distinguished guests were: the Mayor of the Ilidža Municipality, Prof. Dr. Senaid Memić, the Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in B&H, Mr. Ismail Altunal and Mr. Ertun Karakaş, as well as Mr. Erdoğan Özdemir and Mr. Ergun Uluca, TIKA Deputy President Mr. Mehmet Süreyya Er , TIKA Coordinator in B&H, Mr. Zülküf Oruç and other TIKA employees, the director of Turkish Ziraat Bank in Bosnia and Hezegovina, Mr. Ali Rıza Akbaş, deputy director of Anadolu Agency Mr. Ferhat Demircan with associates and TRT representative in B&H, Mr. Hakan Celik.
One of the guests was also Prof. Dr. Fahrudin Oručević and Mr. Asmir Kedić.
