FENS Holds First Advisory Board Meeting

The IUS Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) successfully held its 1st Advisory Board Meeting on March 27, 2026, marking an important step toward strengthening collaboration between academia and industry.

The meeting brought together distinguished Advisory Board members, with some participants attending on-site and others joining online. The Board is composed of experts closely aligned with FENS study programs, ensuring relevant and high-level external insight.

During the meeting, the FENS Dean delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the Faculty’s key achievements and developments, including student enrollment trends, ongoing projects, scientific publications, and industry collaborations. This overview provided a strong foundation for constructive discussion and future planning.

The primary aim of the Advisory Board is to enhance academia–industry relations, analyze labor market needs, and support the continuous development and improvement of curricula. Through this collaboration, FENS seeks to ensure that its study programs remain aligned with current industry demands and that graduates are well-prepared for the evolving job market.
