The Department of English Studies at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) proudly organized Wordy 2025 as part of its regular tradition of celebrating language, learning, and student success. Held on April 26, 2025, the event welcomed future students for an inspiring morning of presentations and activities, along with the opportunity to earn a bonus scholarship through participation.
The program opened with a warm welcome and an introduction to the English Language and Literature (ELIT) and English Language and Teaching (ELT) programs. A presentation titled "A New Journey" invited participants to explore the experience of university life, followed by lively student presentations showcasing club activities, Erasmus exchanges, academic writing achievements, internships, and career paths after graduation.
The event concluded with a tour of the IUS campus and a friendly gathering over certificates, refreshments, and a celebratory cocktail.
Wordy continues to highlight the vibrant academic and community spirit of English Studies at IUS, and we look forward to welcoming new students to join our journey.
