IUS has hosted another high profile member of the Turkish Government on June 18, 2009. Mr. Faruk Celik, Turkish Minister of Work and Social Security visited our University and met with IUS Rector Prof. Dr. Ertuðrul Tacgin, President of IUS Board of Trustees Prof. Dr. Adem Baştürk, the president of IUS Foundation Mr. Hasan Topaloğlu and other academic and administrative personel.
During the meeting, IUS management team has discussed various issues with the Minister related to academic cooperation with Turkish and other universities, results in education and significance of IUS for the future development of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mr. Topaloğlu has also presented the project of IUS campus and progress achieved on the construction site.
At the end of his visit, Mr. Celik was given a token of appreciation by Rector Tacgin and Mr. Baştürk.
