The ceremony of handing certificates to participants of the Work Ready Now! (WRN!) project was held in the main amphitheater of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. A total of 20 participants of the 2nd generation received their certificate as confirmation of successful completion of the program. Work Ready Now! (WRN!) was designed by the EDC and is currently running in nine countries around the world. WRN is self participatory, active and hands-on, so that young people are actively involved in the learning process, have the opportunity to improve and practice new skills, gain self-confidence that is necessary in order to find and keep a job. WRN training focuses on developing and strengthening the basic skills needed to find a job and be successful in the workplace.
During the program, participants had the opportunity to determine their personal work goals and identify steps on how to achieve them. Work Ready Now! (WRN!) program was organized in 8 modules and lasted 65 hours. The representative of EDC/Partnership for Innovation Project supported by USAID, Igor Kapetanović, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Jasminka Hasić-Telalović, project Coordinator and lecturer at the Computer Science and Engineering program of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) handed the certificates to all participants.
