On Monday, December 5th, International Relations Office (IRO) of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) organized an orientation meeting for its students going on mobility in the spring semester of 2022/2023 within the scope of the Erasmus+ program. This was a valuable opportunity for the outgoing students to receive a range of information regarding their upcoming study or traineeship exchange at the partner institutions ranging from Spain, France, Turkiye to Poland and Latvia.
The students were updated by the Mobility Coordinator Mrs. Ermisa Ćišić on the pending application and admission procedures at their host universities who instructed them on the documentation flow and timelines for the submission of the required documentation during and after the mobility. Furthermore, they were informed on the financial aspects of their mobility, the procedures for receiving financial support, the frequency of grants and its requirements. This was followed by a brief instruction on the recognition and transfer of ECTS that the students earn during their exchange alongside the required documentation that the student needs to provide from the host university to verify the validity of his/her academic success (Transcript of Records). Finally, the students were stressed the importance of leaving a positive impression during their exchange period as they are the ambassadors of their university and their country at the host institution.
