Lecture "Culturocide: Mosques in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a paradigm" held at IUS

On Wednesday, May 18, 2011, International University of Sarajevo hosted Mr. Kemal Zukić, director of the Centre for Islamic Architecture, Sarajevo who delivered a lecture entitled "Culturocide – Cultural Destruction: Mosques in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a paradigm". The lecture was held in the Amphitheater on the ground floor starting at 16.00.

Dean of FASS, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin Boşnak officiated the lecture, while it was moderated by Mr. Admir Mulaosmanović from the Institute for History, Sarajevo. Before the start of the lecture, Mr. Kemal Zukić presented as gift three copies of his book "Islamic Architecture in the Balkans and Bosnia and Herzegovina" for IUS library. The gift was gratefully accepted by the Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bosnak.
