IUS Professor Meliha Teparić Represents IUS Art Gallery at Prestigious TransCultural Exchange Conference

Prof. Dr. Meliha Teparić from the IUS Visual Arts and Visual Communications Design (VACD) study program participated in the TransCultural Exchange’s 2025 International Conference on Opportunities in the Arts: Avenues for Daring, held from March 7–9, 2025, in Cambridge, MA. As the curator of the IUS Art Gallery, she presented the gallery’s program, showcasing its vision and initiatives.

Prof. Teparić also moderated the roundtable discussion "Changing Places: Creating Exhibition Opportunities," where she led conversations on exhibition exchanges and new collaboration possibilities. Additionally, she took part in the Portfolio Sessions, where she reviewed and discussed artists' works, providing valuable feedback.

The TransCultural Exchange Conference serves as a global platform, connecting artists worldwide. This year’s discussions addressed diversity, political equity, climate and social justice, while also celebrating the arts' power to foster joy, dialogue, and creative exchange. The event featured roundtable discussions, panels, workshops, PechaKucha pitches, portfolio reviews, networking activities, and guided tours of local attractions, offering participants valuable resources and opportunities for collaboration.
