Bosna Bank International (BBI), in cooperation with its shareholders (Islamic Development Bank, Dubai Islamic Bank and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank) and other international partners organized Sarajevo Business Forum 2016 on 4th and 5th of May, 2016.
Representatives of International University of Sarajevo led by the rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu participated in Sarajevo Business Forum events.
Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu gave a speech on 5th of May on importance of the education in Bosnia and Herzegovina. „We have students from 55 countries, 60% of our students are coming from foreign countries. Also, every year we give 1000 scholarships for students from Bosnia and Herzegovina“, said Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu.
IUS was one of the sponsors of SBF 2016 and on behalf of the University, Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu gave the awards for the winners of IUS Business Plan competition.
Many of the world-wide successful companies and organizations were at the Forum, where International University of Sarajevo, also, had an opportunity to present activities and it was recognized by potential investors who are willing to support IUS as an international project.
