IUS Law Students Gain Hands-On Experience at Federal Police Forensics Center

Federal Police Forensics Center

As part of the practical segment of the Criminal Procedure Law II course, students from the Faculty of Law (FLW) at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), led by Associate Professor Dr. Ena Kazić-Çakar, had the privilege of visiting the Center for Forensics of the Federal Police Department once again this year.

The visit proved to be both informative and engaging, offering students an invaluable opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the work of forensic experts and expert witnesses across various disciplines. Students toured all departments of the Center, acquiring valuable knowledge about forensic procedures, investigative techniques, and real-world applications of criminal law.

Additionally, students actively participated in the practical component of the visit, further enhancing their understanding of forensic science and its crucial role in criminal investigations.

This experience was an exceptionally enriching opportunity, and we eagerly anticipate organizing similar visits in the future.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Forensic Center for their warm hospitality and outstanding collaboration.
