Today, the campus of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) welcomed hundreds of bright and ambitious students from across Bosnia and Herzegovina for the traditional scholarship test dedicated to senior students of medresas. A total of seven medresas from various parts of the country were represented, as students gathered with a common goal — to secure valuable financial support for their future academic journeys.
This important scholarship opportunity is generously provided by the Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo (SEDEF), which continues its mission of supporting education and empowering youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region. The scholarship, which covers five years of bachelor study at IUS, reflects SEDEF’s strong commitment to making quality higher education more accessible.
