IUS Delegation Explores Collaborative Opportunities with ASA Institute and ASA Hospital

A delegation from the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), comprising IUS Vice-Rector for General Affairs Associate Professor Muhammed Yasir Göz, Manager of the Research and Development Center Dr. Lejla Mahmutovic, and newly appointed Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Dr. Jasmin Sutkovic, recently embarked on a productive visit to ASA Institute and ASA Hospital.

At ASA Institute, the delegation had the honor of meeting with Dr. Daria Ler, the Director of the institute. Dr. Ler graciously shared the institute's vision and mission, fostering an enriching dialogue on potential avenues for collaboration between IUS, its Research and Development Center (RDC), and ASA Institute.

The IUS delegation preceded to ASA Hospital, where they were warmly welcomed by Chief Medical Director Prof. Dr. Roland Fasol. Engaging discussions ensued, centering on the hospital's future plans, overarching vision, objectives, and the exciting prospects for collaboration.

During their visit to ASA Hospital, the delegation had the privilege of meeting with Dr. Adnan Šadić, Coordinator of Laboratory Diagnostics and an IFBA Certified Professional. Dr. Šadić provided an insightful tour of the hospital's cutting-edge laboratories, showcasing advancements in diagnostics and the enhanced utilities poised to benefit patients.

The visit served as a platform to explore synergies between the academic prowess of IUS, the innovative initiatives spearheaded by its RDC, and the esteemed endeavors undertaken by ASA Institute and ASA Hospital. It laid the groundwork for potential collaborative ventures aimed at fostering academic excellence, advancing healthcare innovation, and making tangible contributions to society.
