Dialogue Room Podcast Debuts with Inspiring Erasmus+ Story

Podcast

The Dialogue Room Podcast, hosted by Nadia Purdić, Jusuf Mehmedćehajić and co-hosted by Amer Tanović, members of the IUS Chronicle Club, launched with an episode titled “From France to Bosnia: An Erasmus+ Journey.” French students Charlize Bedel and Chanelle Boukhatem shared their experiences studying in Bosnia and Herzegovina through the Erasmus+ program.

During the episode, Charlize and Chanelle reflected on their initial expectations and how their real-life experiences in Bosnia reshaped their perspectives. One of the key takeaways was the surprising number of similarities between Bosnian and French students, especially in terms of lifestyle and cultural attitudes. From academic environments to how students spend their free time, the guests noted that the two cultures were much closer than they had imagined.

The students also remarked on one particular strength of Bosnia and Herzegovina—the strong English language skills of its people. Compared to their home country, they found communication in Bosnia much easier and more welcoming for international students and tourists. “This makes Bosnia a truly tourist-friendly country,” they emphasized.

Charlize and Chanelle also shared their travel experiences, love for Bosnian food and culture, and encouraged other students to join exchange programs, calling their time in Bosnia both educational and enriching.

The Dialogue Room Podcast promises more inspiring international stories in the episodes to come.
