Delegation of the Republic of Macedonia consisting of Minister for foreign investments, Furkan Çako, Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Macedonia to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Bogdanović and Head of the Government Cabinet of the Republic of Macedonia, Fuad Haci Eyüp visited the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu and Vice Rector for General Affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Muhamed Ali welcomed distinguished guests and stressed that this visit is a confirmation of IUS development and cooperation with countries in the region.
During the meeting, Rector Oğurlu presented the work of the University and talked about the international environment as well as future plans and activities in promotion of IUS to potential students from the Republic of Macedonia. Minister Çako expressed satisfaction with the visit and pointed out that cooperation between IUS and other educational institutions of the Republic of Macedonia are already planned, and this meeting represents a step closer in reaching the common goal of bringing quality education to all young people. At the end of the visit, the delegation visited also other Campus facilities such as research center and laboratories.
