FENS Graduation Projects Exhibition 2026 Showcases Student Innovation and Engineering Excellence
On Friday, June 19, 2026, the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) successfully organized the FENS Graduation Projects Exhibition 2026, bringing together students, academic staff, industry representatives, alumni, prospective students, and guests to celebrate the achievements of this year's graduating class.
The exhibition featured 43 graduation projects developed by 104 senior students from the Faculty's undergraduate programs in Genetics and Bioengineering (GBE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), and Software Engineering (SE).
Throughout the event, students presented their graduation projects through poster presentations and live demonstrations, showcasing innovative solutions to real-world engineering and technological challenges. The exhibition provided an opportunity for visitors to interact directly with students, discuss their work, and gain insight into the knowledge and skills developed during their final-year capstone projects.
In addition to the academic evaluation conducted by faculty members as part of the ENS490 Graduation Project course, the exhibition also included an industry competition. Following the academic assessment, the highest-ranked projects from each study program were shortlisted and evaluated by an independent industry jury, which selected the overall winners based on innovation, practical relevance, technical quality, presentation, and potential real-world impact.
The Best Project Awards were presented to the following teams:
