We are proud to share the outstanding achievement of our student Tarik Okerić, who represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Taekwondo promotion event held in Split, Croatia on September 13, 2025. This event brought together athletes from both Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina with the goal of fostering sportsmanship, discipline, and cooperation.
Tarik competed in two matches and achieved two victories. While both matches were valuable, we are more than happy to share that in the second match he faced the current European champion in taekwondo. Tarik’s victory resulted in a gain of decisive points for our national team. With such contribution, the Bosnian team celebrated an overall win with a score of 6:4.
Additionally, for his exceptional achievement, he was named as the best fighter of the event.
The next challenge awaits him at the upcoming World Championship, which will take place in Poreč, Croatia, in October 2025. The University congratulates our student on this remarkable accomplishment and eagerly awaits hearing about his magnificent results from the World Championship.
