On 6th of May, 2016, rector of International Balkan University Prof. Dr. İsmail Kocayusufoğlu visited IUS and rector of International University of Sarajevo Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu. During the meeting, both rectors shared information on the current and future projects of their respective universities, as well as discussed the challenges regarding universities in the Balkan region.
Both parties agreed to continue the close cooperation between IBU and IUS. They shared ideas on strengthening the ties at all levels between their universities.
