On Friday, May 24th, 2013 at the UNITIC business center in Sarajevo, a first regional conference entitled "Capital of Markets in function of Development" was held and organized by the Sarajevo Stock Exchange dd. The conference is organized in cooperation with Banja Luka and Montenegro Stock Exchange, and represents one of the essential steps to further the implementation of the Agreement on cooperation between the three stock exchanges, signed in October last year.
At the invitation of Mr. Tarik Kurbegović, the director of the Sarajevo Stock Exchange, professor of the IUS Faculty of Business and Administration, Assist. Dr. Mehmed Ganić, and Senior Assistant Mr. Ramo Palalić, participated in the conference along with the students of Management, Economics and International Relations Program.
Participation in the conference was an ideal opportunity for students and teachers to meet in one place and get to know a number of people from the business sector, share with them ideas and experiences, and discuss the possibilities for future cooperation. The Conference was attended by many experts in the area of capital market in B&H and the region, representatives of public investment from many countries, experts from the financial markets, experts from the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchange, and the Association of South-Asian Stock Exchange.
Students and professors of the Faculty of Business and Administration had also the opportunity to meet and talk with Mr. Ibrahim M. Turhan, General Director of the Istanbul Stock Exchange.
