On Wednesday, October 12, 2016, the new director of TIKA Prof. Dr. Birol Çetin and his assistant Nedžad Avdić visited the International University of Sarajevo. The delegation was welcomed by IUS Rector Prof. Dr. Tahsin Erkan Türe and Vice-Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Gürsel.
The TIKA delegation congratulated the new rector on the appointment. Also, they discussed about ongoing TIKA projects at IUS, especially projects about food and material analyzing which are almost completed.
The Rector mentioned that his focus is on internationalization of IUS with the help from the TIKA.
Prof. Dr. Birol Çetin, new headed director of TIKA in Sarajevo and his assistant Nedžad Avdić give an unselfish and unlimited support to the IUS, professors, students, for much better working environment and openness on the all levels, not only on local, but on the regional ones for the realization of new projects and ideas.
