On Wednesday, February 26th, 2014 at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), a lecture entitled "Global Design, local reflection" was held, during which prominent Turkish journalists tried to discover the different aspects , both current as well as historical events in the world. Students at the conference were addressed by the General Manager of the Turkish daily newspaper "Takvim" Ergun Diler and his colleague from the TV channel "A Haber" Bekir Hazar.
Mr. Bekir Hazar has explained the global picture of current events in the world. He pointed out that events in any country cannot be understood if we do not know the true background of these, and only then can we see a complete picture of the situation in the country.
The General Director of "Takvim" Ergun Diler expressed his satisfaction with a visit to Sarajevo, but also concern for the current protests held by citizens that have been taking place across the country during the last month. He said they were concerned and they wondered whether a similar scenario is occuring in BiH as in Ukraine . "I think, however, the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina is improving," concluded Diler.
The conference ran interactively, with many questions from the students who have showed great interest in this topic.
