On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, the Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA) at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), in partnership with the Association of Business Service Leaders (ABSL) and The DDC Group, hosted a guest lecture titled “Powering Business, Empowering People: A Look into Modern Business Services.” The event was organized in collaboration with the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (IEC), led by IEC director, Assistant Professor Dr. Jasmin Šutković.
The lecture brought together students from across all faculties to explore the world of business services, learn about available career paths, and understand the sector’s contribution to economic growth and international competitiveness.
Ms. Senada Aljović-Milić, Employee Engagement Manager at The DDC Group, and Mr. Adi Softić, Member Relations Manager at ABSL, shared their insights and experiences with the audience. They discussed the nature of modern business services, the skills in demand, and how students can prepare themselves to enter this growing sector. They also presented their respective companies’ ongoing projects and extended an invitation to students to apply for job openings and other opportunities.
Students actively engaged in the discussion, offering thoughtful perspectives on how they see their careers developing within the sector and identifying key opportunities for growth and contribution.
