IUS Professor Edita Đapo appointed as Federal Minister

On Wednesday October 28, 2015, distinguished IUS professor from ‘’Economics’’ Program of the Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA), Assist. Prof. Dr. Edita Đapo was appointed as Minister of Tourism and Environment at the meeting session of the House of Representatives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Prof. Đapo sees great opportunities for development of tourism and she stated that she will pay special attention to environment in the context of elimination of hazardous substances. Minister Đapo announced her plans to create the new law in tourism in the future. Assist. Prof. Dr. Edita Đapo was born on October 24, 1973 in Trebinje. She graduated in 1996 at the Economics Faculty in Sarajevo. In 2007 she completed her graduate studies in International Economics at the Tohoku University in Japan. IUS would like to congratulate Minister Edita Đapo on appointment and wish her to continue doing the good and quality work.
