IUS Life Collaborates in CyberFort Project: European Initiative to Strengthen Cybersecurity in VET and SMEs

The IUS Lifelong Learning Center is proud to announce its participation as a partner in a new project titled CyberFort, co-funded by the European Commission.

The project’s kickoff meeting was held online on January 13, 2025, organized by representatives of the project leader, the Governorship of Istanbul (GOI). This meeting marked the first presentation of the project and served as an opportunity for collaboration between the eight partner institutions from Turkey, Albania, Portugal, and Greece.

CyberFort aims to develop educational materials on Cybersecurity, tailored for use in Vocational Education and Training (VET) systems and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs), addressing critical needs in these sectors.

The project consortium includes the following institutions: Governorship of Istanbul (GOI) (Turkey), Cappadocia Innovation Institute (Turkey), Mindshift Skills Hub (Portugal), University of Thessaly (Greece), Luarasi University (Albania), National Employment and Skills Agency (Albania), Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation (Albania) and IUS Lifelong Learning Center (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

The CyberFort project comprises seven work packages and will span a total of 36 months, focusing on fostering innovation and strengthening cybersecurity expertise across Europe.
