IUS Leadership Engages in Productive Dialogue with Deputy Speaker of FBiH HoP Nezim Alagić

International University of Sarajevo (IUS) leadership led by Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım and the Secretary General Mr. Ibrahim Inal recently facilitated a significant meeting with the Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples (HoP) of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Nezim Alagić. In a meeting, which was also attended by the Secretary of the HoP Parliament Mr. Izmir Hadžiavdić, the attendees engaged in a constructive dialogue aimed at fostering collaboration and advancing mutual interests. The meeting held significant resonance as it brought together the alumni and current stakeholders of the university.

Central to the discussions was Deputy Speaker Alagić's personal connection with IUS, having experienced firsthand the exceptional quality of education the institution offers. Recalling his student days at the Faculty of Business and Administration and subsequently graduating from the International Relations study program, Alagić expressed deep appreciation for the academic rigor and comprehensive curriculum provided by the university.

The meeting also provided a forum to address pressing matters concerning the current political landscape of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). Participants exchanged insights on the country's trajectory towards European Union (EU) integration and the imperative need for harmonizing legislation and operational frameworks in preparation for future endeavors.

Demonstrating his ongoing commitment to his alma mater, Deputy Speaker Alagić pledged unwavering support to the endeavors of IUS. Emphasizing his intention to strengthen collaboration through various avenues such as cooperative initiatives, projects, and guest lectures, Alagić affirmed his dedication to advancing the university's mission and objectives.
