On Tuesday, September 26, 2023, the International Relations Office (IRO) conducted an Orientation/Welcoming meeting for new Erasmus+ incoming students. The event welcomed twenty-five students from Poland, Turkey, Spain, and France. The meeting was hosted by IRO Manager, Mr. Mugdim Alihodžić and IRO Mobility Coordinator, Mrs. Ermisa Ćišić.

During the session, the newcomers were introduced to some intriguing yet less-known facts about Bosnia and Herzegovina as an attractive destination. They also learned more about the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), its faculties, the IUS Campus, and its facilities. Representatives from various groups, including the Erasmus Student Network, Student Career Centre, Study Buddy Program, and Erasmus Alumni, shared valuable information about the diverse opportunities and activities available at IUS, such as joining clubs, programs, and networks.

The students were provided with detailed information regarding essential contacts and the necessary document procedures for mobility, student affairs, residence permits, and more.

Following the meeting, a group of Erasmus Alumni organized a Campus Tour to help the new students become better acquainted with the IUS Campus and its surroundings.
