On the 15th and 16th November 2022, IUS Life representatives Mirsada Mehremić and Sibela Besirević took part in the Intervet Western Balkans 4th Transnational Meeting in Tirana.
On the first day of this gathering, after a welcome event by representatives of Albanian Skills and Albanian ICT Academy, participants started discussing the project’s state of play and the next steps. This discussion was followed by a series of parallel workshops and a dedicated session about the IntervetWB project budget with a focus on the National policies regarding the VET international mobilities. Finally, the Results report of the Job Shadowing organized at MCAST College Malta was analyzed.
The second day started with the parallel working groups discussing peer review and the final event in Brussels. The partners also focused on the mobilities' pre-departure meetings exchanging the importance of intercultural competences, while in the afternoon it was time for visits to VET schools in Tirana.
The visit to the Economic Technical School and the Electrical Technical School in Tirana was particularly interesting. IntervetWB participants from 13 countries had the opportunity to talk with students and teachers and learn about the teaching processes and activities that take place in these schools.
