On Monday, May 23, 2022, Mr. Cemalettin Şevli, General Director of the Turkish Maritime Organization of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus visited the International University of Sarajevo (IUS).
Mr. Şevli had a meeting with IUS Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım where they discussed the education in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey and Northern Cyprus. Another interesting focal point of the meeting was cooperation that might be fostered between universities in Northern Cyprus and IUS to establish double diploma programs to the benefit of IUS students.
In the end, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım presented Mr. Şevli with a token of appreciation for his visit to IUS.
