On Wednesday, December 13, 2023, Mr. Emir Ćosović and Ms. Nejra Sefer visited the International University in Sarajevo (IUS) on behalf of the association "Želim biti dio društva" (I Want to Be a Part of Society) as part of the project "Moj posao - ekonomsko osnaživanje osoba sa invaliditetom" (My Job - Economic Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities).
On this occasion, they presented certificates of appreciation to the university members for their active contribution to capacity building in advocating for the rights of persons with disabilities, as well as the implementation of the campaign "Želim biti dio društva." The certificates were handed to the IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım, the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emil Knezović, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ognjen Riđić, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Hamza Smajić.
The association emphasized their appreciation for the dedication and willingness of the International University in Sarajevo to engage in projects empowering persons with disabilities. The collaboration between IUS and the association "Želim biti dio društva" began with the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, immediately followed by an educational session on raising awareness about persons with disabilities for students.
It is essential to highlight that FBA and the entire IUS continue their active commitment to equality and sustainability through various projects and daily activities.
