Dragana Skoković-Šunjić Lectured at IUS

On Thursday, June 1, 2017, Dragana Skoković-Šunjić, BScPhm, NCMP, gave a lecture on topic “Role of Good Bacteria as an Intervention: Probiotics in Personal and Global Health”, which was organized by the IUS Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences.

Mrs. Dragana Skoković-Šunjić spoke about the role and importance of bacterial diversity within the gut microbiota, consequences of the disruption of microbiota following antibiotic use, and an application of probiotics as live microorganisms which have a positive role in maintaining microbiological and immunological balance in the gut.

Dragana Skoković-Šunjić BScPhm, RPh, NCMP, has been living in Canada for many years. She is a Clinical Pharmacist with Hamilton Family Health Team and NAMS Cerfified Menopause Practitioner.
