As part of the Erasmus+ teaching exchange program, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) was delighted to welcome Associate Professor Dr. Dilek Aydemir from Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, Turhal Faculty of Applied Sciences, Department of Graphic Design.
During her visit on April 7, 2025, Dr. Aydemir delivered two engaging guest lectures for students of the Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design (VACD) program. Her sessions took place within the courses VA416 Design Studio 2, focusing on “Storytelling in Graphic Design,” and VA334 Packaging Design, exploring “Printing and Illustrations for Label Design.”
Bringing her unique perspective and deep expertise, Dr. Aydemir inspired students with innovative approaches to narrative in visual communication and the art of creating impactful packaging. Her lectures sparked vibrant discussions on contemporary global design trends and enriched students’ understanding of both academic and industry practices in Turkey.
