A delegation from Ada University, Azerbaijan paid a visit to the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) on Thursday, October 13, 2022. The delegation was comprised of Prof. Dr. Sencer Yeralan, Dean of School of IT and Engineering, Dr. Anar Valiyev, Dean of School of Public and International Affairs and Mr. Elshad Goyushov, Admissions Counselor, Undergraduate Recruitment Department at the Office of Admissions and Students Records.
The guests were welcomed by the IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım, IUS Vice-Rector for Academic Activities and Students' Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emil Knezović, IUS Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Research, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kanita Karađuzović-Hadžiabdić and the International Relations Office (IRO) Acting Manager, Mr. Mugdim Alihodžić.
Ada University is a state university founded in 2014 by merging the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) and the University of Information Technologies. If offers undergraduate and graduate progams in international relations, law, business, computer science and engineering.
The focus of the meeting was future collaboration between the two universities, student exchange and the promotion of higher education abroad. In the end, both parties agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding, which will foster this cooperation in the future.
