DC VET WB Project: Promoting Green Energy and Innovation

DC VET WB Project

The DC VET WB project has entered its third year of operation, and exciting activities are currently underway as part of Work Package 4. These initiatives involve third-grade students from SCC Hadžići, working under the mentorship of Prof. Nejra Neradin and Prof. Kemo Ćorović.

As part of the blended skill competition, students from SCC Hadžići, in collaboration with peers from Pedro Tolosa School in Madrid, are tasked with promoting green schools and renewable energy sources. The culmination of their efforts will take place in September in Tirana, Albania, where they will present their innovations during the final event hosted by the partner institution, Albanian Skills.

The dedicated students of SCC Hadžići have already developed an impressive innovation: a bike generator capable of charging mobile phones. Their first public presentation of this invention took place at the recent INN&TECH Sarajevo conference.

Participating in the innovation conference provided these young innovators with an invaluable opportunity to showcase their creativity, as well as the knowledge and skills acquired at their school. It also served as a platform for networking, exchanging ideas, and gaining inspiration from others in the field.

The INN&TECH Sarajevo conference is a prominent event focused on innovation and technology. It brings together industry leaders, schools and universities, entrepreneurs, professionals, and researchers to explore emerging trends, groundbreaking innovations, and sectoral challenges.

We extend our best wishes to the students participating in the DC VET WB project as they continue their efforts to raise awareness about the importance of green energy and promote sustainable solutions for the future.
