The DC-VET WB project is in full swing, continuing its engaging activities under WP3 - Fostering Social Inclusion. On November 12, 2024, the "Learning for Life" club hosted a creative social event and student competition at the JU SCC Hadžići premises.
Students from JU Secondary School for Hospitality and Tourism Sarajevo joined as guests, collaborating with their peers to explore their artistic talents. Together, they painted on transparent cellophane and crafted picture frames using autumn leaves and green pine needles, inspired by the theme "Autumn Magic." Another highlight was a skill-based competition, challenging participants to fill a container with water while minimizing wastewater.
Students from the Individual Support Plan (ISP) program, along with their friends and teachers, embraced the activities with enthusiasm, demonstrating exceptional creativity, teamwork, and the value of peer-to-peer learning.
The event concluded with a relaxed gathering in the school restaurant, where students from the hospitality school prepared pizzas and the traditional Bosnian dessert sutlija (rice pudding). The collaboration showcased the power of joint initiatives in promoting social inclusion, fostering connections, and enhancing understanding among young people.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the students, school principals, teachers, and assistants who made the "Autumn Magic" workshop a success.
