The lecture titled “D3 - Data, Design, Diplomacy” was held at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) on Thursday, December 10, 2015. This lecture was organized with support of the program coordinator of the Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design (VACD), Assist. Prof. Kenan Zekić. The lecturer was Ariel Swan, Foreign Service Officer and Information Visualization engineer/designer at the Embassy of the United States of America (USA) in Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the presentation, Swan presented 3 cases talking about ways in how to apply the above mentioned tools in diplomacy and how to use a programming language for data visualization. Besides VACD students, the lecture was attended by administrative staff as well.
