Dr. Taro Tsukimura, Professor at the Doshisha University in Japan and Kyoto Kambio Nobumitsu, Representative of the Embassy of Japan in Bosnia and Herzegovina visited the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu welcomed distinguished guests with his associates in his office. Professor at Economics program of IUS, Assist. Prof. Dr. Edita Đapo initiated the organization of this visit.
During the meeting, the guests talked with the hosts about the possibilities of developing cooperation between the two universities, particularly in the field of development of international cooperation and exchange of students. Professor Tsukimura expressed satisfaction with his stay at IUS, and praised the infrastructure of the University as well as other services offered to students. Rector Oğurlu welcomed the idea of creating close cooperation with this Japanese higher education institution, in order to show the international dimension of IUS.
